Accord Suite Privacy Policy

Accord Suite is a Mac app made by Quantum Accord Business Group ("Quantum Accord", "we", "us"). This policy covers the app, both the version on the Mac App Store and the version downloaded from this site. The website and its shop have their own privacy policy.

Your work stays on your Mac. We do not collect data from the app.

No account, no tracking. The app has no sign-in and no account. It contains no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not send us your documents, your media, or how you use it.

Your documents and media. Pictures, films, sound, drawings and projects stay in the files and folders you choose on your Mac. When you share a project through a folder you pick (for example one that iCloud Drive or another service keeps in step), it goes wherever that folder goes, under that service's terms; it does not pass through us.

Recording and captions. The app uses the microphone only when you press record on the Audio Core page; the recording is saved into your project. Captions made from speech are made on your Mac with Apple's on-device speech recognition; the app does not let that speech leave your Mac.

Crash and hang reports. Kept only on your Mac, and only if you turn them on in Settings. The app does not send them anywhere.

When the app goes online. Only when you ask it to, and only to these places:

• Downloading an image model. Fill from a Prompt and depth tools need a model file, downloaded once when you choose to. It comes from Hugging Face, which, like any download server, sees your internet address. Nothing about you or your work is sent.
• Buying Accord Suite Pro in the Mac App Store version. The purchase is made through Apple; Apple handles the payment, and we never see your card or payment details.
• Checking for updates (the version from this site only). Off unless you turn it on, or choose Accord Suite ▸ Check for Updates…. It asks this site for the list of releases; nothing about you or your documents is sent.
• Google Imagen (the version from this site only). An optional image model that runs on Google's servers, through your own Google Cloud account. It is off by default and asks for your permission for each document; only then is the selected area of your picture sent to Google, under Google's terms. The Mac App Store version does not include it.

Licence codes (the version from this site only). Accord Suite Pro bought on this site comes with a licence code. The app checks it on your Mac; it is not sent anywhere.

Children. The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes. If the app ever changes what it does with data, this page will say so first, with a new date at the top.
