Borrowed from luxury fashion publishing: whitespace, restrained type, the product as the only hero.
Commerce
A storefront that sells — catalogue, orders, WhatsApp checkout.
For most Indian shops the winning move is not a heavyweight cart — it is a beautiful catalogue with prices and a WhatsApp order button, because that is where your customers already are.
Describe what you sell and the builder lays out the storefront: categories, product cards, offers, bulk-order enquiries. Online payment rails can be added when volume justifies them.
What a build includes
- Product catalogue with categories and price display
- WhatsApp ordering wired to your number
- Festival/offer sections, bulk and wholesale enquiry forms
- A path to full checkout (Razorpay) when you're ready
How to use it
- List your product categories and a few hero products with prices
- Say how you sell today — WhatsApp, phone, walk-in — so the site matches it
- Attach product photos if you have them
- Build, then swap [Your price] placeholders for real numbers
What this type has to get right
- One aspect ratio across the entire product grid, on one background, so items are comparable
- The same fields in the same order on every card — differentiated by size and weight, not by rearranging
- Price, variants and the buy button never move position between cards
Where it usually goes wrong: Mixed crops and inconsistent card heights, which turn the grid into noise and destroy comparison.
Every one of these is a real design language, and every card below is that language's own page shrunk down — not a picture of it. Open one to see it full size, or name it in your prompt and the build comes out in it.
The opposite pole for challenger brands — aggressive colour and huge-type-against-tiny-type hierarchy.
Jewellery, spirits, fragrance: the typography is the price tag before the price is read.
A dark ground makes product photography pop and reads as premium — the reason so many DTC stores went dark.
Geometry and gold for heritage categories where the brand is claiming lineage.
Streetwear and youth categories, where the aesthetic is the demographic signal.
